The books in our library range from ancient wisdom to modern spiritual thought, physics to comics, but nothing that makes you question your worth.
We see abilities, not disabilities. You’ll feel the difference when our diverse staff welcomes you with empathy instead of competition
The books on our shelves range from the Gita and Upanishads to Eckhart Tolle and Ramana Maharishi. You’ll find history, quantum physics, and even Amar Chitra Katha comics – but you won’t find fashion magazines or anything that makes you question your worth.
Adhyay was born out of long and deliberate consideration about the connection between space, body and mind. We wondered, what if we created a space where both body and mind could be nourished? Not another trendy café, but a quiet rebellion against the rush of modern life. We named it after the 18 chapters (adhyay) of the Gita, because every visit here is meant to be its own little chapter in your journey.
The books we’ve gathered aren’t random. We wholeheartedly believe in Eckart Tolle’s message to the world, ‘humanity is waking up and you are a part of this great evolution.’ Stillness and transcendentalism have the potential to transport you to a more awakened state of consciousness. We’re here to play what little part we can.
What we consume shapes who we become, whether it’s social media, food, books or conversations. That’s why we’ve paid special attention to what you eat here as well as what you read and who you are around. The earthy tones, wooden tables, and subtle fragrance of incense are more than decorative choices. They’re invitations to feel at home. Because Adhyay isn’t just our story – it’s a space waiting for yours to unfold.
